*This position utilizes a hybrid (remote and in-office work) schedule and will require coming into the Austin office. Please note that Wednesdays are core in office days*

Position Purpose:
Oversees, prepares, and maintains general ledger and prepares financial reports; oversees, researches, prepares, analyzes and interprets financial data; and oversees and supports audit activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversees, prepares, reviews, and plans monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
Oversees, creates, prepares, reviews, and plans monthly customer invoicing process, reconciling to contracts, revenue accruals and progress reporting.
Oversees, plans, develops and prepares monthly reports, including those that compare budgeted revenues and expenses to actual.
Oversees, plans and analyzes costs and variances and reports the results to management staff of the various departments.
Oversees, plans and provides technical support, guidance, and research to all departments on contract-related issues, requests for proposals, and statutory, regulatory, and agency requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or finance
Additional experience in accounting or other related areas may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree on a year per year basis. (Experience requirements may be satisfied by full-time experience or the prorated part-time equivalent.)
Certification
Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Experience
Seven (7) years in a lead accountant role
Graduate or Professional degree in accounting or finance may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience
Three (3) years Supervisory
Auditing, preferred
Federal Government Contractor, preferred
