Description

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Experience with governmental or special district accounting
Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and SSARS standards
Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and related disclosures
Familiarity with Arizona special districts, water utilities, or municipal accounting preferred
Ability to provide recommendations regarding financial processes and internal controls
Must maintain independence from the District, Board Members, and management
