Reid Collins & Tsai LLP (“Reid Collins”) is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Austin, Texas office. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting our complex commercial litigation practice in state and federal courts nationwide.
Reid Collins is an entrepreneurial, plaintiffs’ trial firm with offices in Austin, Dallas, New York, and Delaware. With approximately 40 lawyers, the firm is known for prosecuting high-stakes, complex commercial disputes on a success-fee basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on the firm's cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment as part of teams that span multiple offices.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred.
- Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved program) preferred
- Minimum of four (4) years of complex litigation paralegal experience
- Demonstrated experience with litigation practice, including e-filing, is required
- Bankruptcy Court experience a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail required
- Exceptional organizational skills necessary
- Ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple attorneys from multiple offices in a deadline-driven environment required
- Ability to anticipate a litigation team’s needs and proactively assist attorneys with litigation projects required
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary, potentially including limited travel for trials
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint, as well as various document management systems (Relativity). Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of complex commercial litigation
- Draft, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials
- Prepare filings and manage e-filing in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable local rules and procedures
- Maintain and organize electronic case files, discovery, exhibit lists, and litigation binders
- Track deadlines, hearings, and case developments; manage calendars and case management systems
- Conduct factual and procedural review of court dockets and filing requirements
- Review and process documents for production; work with ESI vendors
- Assist with deposition, hearing, and trial preparation
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
- Accurately track and record billable time in accordance with firm policies

- Compensation is dependent on several factors, such as market, education, training, and/or experience
- ** Hiring Salary Range ** $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
